How To Generate Leads From Your Blog

So you have a blog but it doesn’t do much for you in the leads department and you want to learn how to fix that. Because every business can use more leads, no matter what industry you are in right? Yes that is correct. But it starts with 4 things.

You want a website that:

1. Defines what your business is –  This means tells your audience what you are trying to do. Lets say you have a roofing company and you want to generate leads for new roofs. You start with seoing your blog for roofing qoutes and see if you get any one to fill out an app. If you want you can seo your content to the roofing industry and hit it hard for about 6 month.  Your blog is an investment it won’t happen overnight.

2. Listen – Understand your audience needs and contribute to what they need in this instance a new roof so tell them the steps needed to get a new roof and where they can go for a new roof online. Your building a brand.

3. Address – By doing this offer a value like maybe a 50 year roof so they will know that they will only have to put on one roof and that they are having a roof put on by the best roofs in the business. It will make them feel assured and that’s what you want your customer to feel when they go online for home improvement, they want to feel good about their decision and feel safe.

4. Communicate – This key is hard for most business owners but if you let the buyer know they will be happy and feel taken care of and in return share your name with their friends. Also make them apart of what you are doing let them make choices and you will have a happy long term relationship in a lead.

If you follow those 4 steps you will be on your way to making a lead generation machine but you have to stick to the plan and address your audience with the best knowledge you have and you will see a difference.
